Description
I would going to do the background; but for some random reason, it completely crashed and frozed my art process to the point I have to refresh it and I can no longer save it!! GRRWWW!! (I think it have to do with too much memory) !
So, instead of continue, I decided to just skip that failed background process and went for a much simple background... !
Please forgive me about my fail attempt on create those detailed backgrounds. I know some of you want to see it since I promise you guy and artist I trade with, but I can't possibly do it in Da Muro right now.
Anyway, this is an art trade with and since she already did mine, I have to draw her OC Mei!
after that, I have to work on other AT!
Reference:
I used 's reference sheet of her OC Mei. For one thing, she is not exactly easy to draw because I used mouse and Da Muro plus I have to create the patterns she given from scratch.
For the pose, I used one of the artwork as pose reference from another illustrator 藤原 who is happen to be in Japan. Since she have her own website, I decided to check for her mail hoping to email that person for a written permission. Believe me, it is a pretty long painful process in order to find original artist's main email. I also found that she is in twitter, so I tweet her just in case! Updated: it been 24 day with no replying from this artist.... oh..well, I guess that person is way too busy with her stuff in real life...
For that reason, I decided to read Copyright Law in Japan. Here is what I come up with so far:
According to Section II Rights of Authors, Article 48 stated " When indicating the source under the preceding paragraph, mention must be made of the name of the author if it appears on a work, except in the case where such indication identifies the author or the work is anonymous."
In Section III Content of the Rights, Article 28 stated " In the exploitation of a derivative work, the author of the pre-existing work shall have the SAME RIGHTS as those the author of the derivative work has under the provisions of this Subsection... "
This means I can used it as reference as long as I give a proper credit to this artist! sweet!
Made with DeviantArt muro and still 100% used mouse! want some proof? look in rewatch video on right!!!!! (although it pretty lonnngg!!!!) this video might crash (if you try to watch it too long)
